About the IAPP

Matt Wolf joined Google’s global privacy legal team in 2018 and manages a team of lawyers advising the company on privacy, data protection, compliance. He leads the team’s support for the use of AI across Google’s products.

Matt has spent his career counseling innovation-focused clients across industries on data protection laws, incident response, privacy program design/operation and effective information risk management. Prior to joining Google, Matt worked as a data protection attorney and chief information security officer in the public sector.
