About the IAPP

Patrick A. Daven serves as Counsel at Fortegra Financial Corporation, in Jacksonville, Florida.  At Fortegra, Patrick provides comprehensive compliance and legal support for the company’s core insurance business, in addition to serving as Fortegra’s primary privacy and data security attorney.  He is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals, holding both its Certified Information Privacy Professional CIPP/US and CIPP/E designations.  Patrick also holds a Bachelors of Art in Political Science from Arizona State University and a Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law.  He is licensed to practice law in Arkansas, Florida, and the District of Columbia.  In his free time, Patrick enjoys working with local charities, mentoring, and traveling.
