About the IAPP

Riccardo (CIPP/E, CIPM) is a data protection officer and associate at lecocqassociate malta, a Swiss law firm specialised in finance and baking. Before joining the firm, he worked for Deloitte Malta and, in Germany, for hotsplots GmbH. He holds a double degree in IP/IT law from the University of Hannover and the Oslo University. He also graduated from the University of Milano-Bicocca. His main data protection areas are financial data and international data transfer to offshore jurisdictions (Switzerland, Dubai, Cayman and so forth) as well as related compliance. He also has a strong l knowledge and background in cybersecurity (soon publishing a book about cyberwar), intellectual property and telecommunications.
