Roberto Lattanzi

Roberto Lattanzi, PhD, is the Head of the “Artificial Intelligence Department” at the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali). Admitted to the Bar of Piacenza, he has been Assistant Professor of Private Law at the Catholic University of Piacenza and served as seconded national expert at the European Data Protection Supervisor. He has authored scientific articles, especially in the data protection field, and was appointed as «Marie Curie Fellow» under the European Commission Training and Mobility of Researchers Programme, doing studies at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg. Since 2018 he is professor on contract of Privacy Law at the Catholic University of Milan.
