As Global Chief Privacy Officer (CPO) for The Coca-Cola Company, Courtney heads the global privacy compliance program and leads the legal response to cyber incidents. Courtney has a proven track record of providing pragmatic solutions that enable businesses to maximize opportunities through solutions-oriented privacy and cybersecurity compliance strategies. Courtney has dedicated her career to understanding the essential roles of privacy and cybersecurity in data-driven businesses.

Prior to joining The Coca-Cola Company in June 2021, Courtney served as CPO and Co-Lead of the Cyber Incident Response Team for S&P Global, Inc., a Fortune 500 financial analytics business. During her tenure at S&P Global, Courtney’s role grew from U.S. centric to a global privacy compliance structure, as demonstrated by her leadership role in 2020’s $44b merger between S&P Global and IHS Markit. 

In private practice, Courtney had an integral role in the launch of the outsourcing and privacy practices at Hunton Andrews Kurth, a law firm widely recognized for excellence in privacy, cybersecurity, and technology.

Courtney is a sought-after industry thought leader. The World Economic Forum invited Courtney to join other global leaders on a newly-formed Digital Trust Framework committee. Global Data Review World Forums honored Courtney as one of 2022’s leading Women in Data, adding her to an elite group of 46 honorees from 23 countries.
