About the IAPP

He co-heads the Fieldfisher Technology, Outsourcing & Privacy department in Brussels. He assists companies, especially in the TMT, Life Sciences and Financial Services sectors, to put in place global privacy compliance programs enabling them to comply with the GDPR and other data protection laws in a pragmatic manner. 

Additionally, he helps companies preparing for and dealing with data breaches. His assistance covers both the implementation of data security incident response plans and dealing with the fall-out and notification obligations of data breaches. Where needed, he can also leverage my experience as a litigator to defend clients before a DPA or in court. 

Due to his extensive experience drafting and negotiating complex system integration and outsourcing agreements, he is also very well placed to deal with data processing agreements.

He is a member of the IAPP European Advisory Board and of its Teaching Faculty.  He regularly speaks at high-profile data protection conferences and he is the author of many publications in the field of data protection and information technology. Leading legal directories describe him as "brilliant and clinical, with an acute grasp of the law particularly with regards to privacy, data protection and data security issues and a strong ability to consider the business implications.
