Michael Brown, CIPP/E
Michael Brown is an English-qualified lawyer who specialises in privacy, technology and AI law and policy. He currently works as a Legal Consultant, including for Digiphile law firm, and teaches at the University of Edinburgh Law School.
Michael's private practice experience includes working as a Legal Director in Fieldfisher's Privacy and Data Team. He worked out of the firm's Silicon Valley office for two years. His in-house experience includes acting as the head of privacy and as a member of the legal leadership team at a global tech company. Prior to qualifying as a lawyer, Michael worked in Brussels on EU policy issues.
