Dr. Sachiko Scheuing ist European Privacy Officer und Mitglied des Senior Management Teams EMEA bei Acxiom, eines der weltweit führenden Unternehmen im Bereich Data-Driven Marketing Solutions und Teil der Interpublic Group of Companies (IPG). Derzeit ist sie in ihrer dritten Amtszeit als Vorsitzende der Federation of European Data and Marketing Association (FEDMA) mit Sitz in Brüssel tätig. Mit mehr als 20 Jahren Erfahrung im Bereich Marketing Intelligence und als ehemalige Chefanalystin kombiniert Dr. Scheuing theoretische und praktische Erfahrung in der Marketing- und Werbebranche, um Acxioms europäische Government Affairs und Compliance zu steuern. Darüber hinaus unterstützt sie Kunden und Kollegen auf nationaler und europäischer Ebene in Fragen des Datenschutzes, schreibt selbst Artikel für Fachzeitschriften und akademische Journale.

Neben der FEDMA ist sie in vielen europäischen und globalen Datenschutz- und Marketingverbänden sowie in Think-Tanks aktiv. Im Jahr 2020 erhielt Dr. Scheuing den DataIQ Professor Derek Holder Lifetime Achievement Award für ihren herausragenden Beitrag und ihre außergewöhnliche Führungsrolle in der Datenbranche.

Dr. Sachiko Scheuing is the European Privacy Officer for Acxiom, an IPG company and a global leader in marketing services. She is currently serving her third term as the Co-Chairwoman of the Federation of European Data and Marketing Association (FEDMA), based in Brussels. With more than 20 years’ experience in the field of marketing intelligence, and as a former Chief Analyst, Sachiko combines theoretical and practical experience of the marketing and advertisement industries to manage Acxiom’s European government affairs and compliance. She also provides national and European level advice to clients and colleagues on data protection and privacy matters, and also contributes articles to trade magazines and academic journals. Besides FEDMA, Sachiko is active in many European and global privacy and marketing associations as well as think-tanks. In 2020, Sachiko received the DataIQ Professor Derek Holder Lifetime Achievement Award for her outstanding contribution to and exceptional leadership in the data industry.
