About the IAPP

Russell R. Densmore is currently Principal Cyber Security Engineer of Space and Airborne Systems working within the Mission Processing & Data Exploitation group of Raytheon Company.  Densmore has previously worked with Lockheed Martin Corporation in Bethesda, MD and helped pioneer the corporate-wide privacy team while there and was instrumental in developing and implementing several privacy practices across multiple business areas and functions, instituting policies, procedures, training and awareness into the operation of the corporation.

 

Densmore has been involved in information technology engineering, information security, law enforcement and physical security for over 30 years.  He has specialized in computer forensics, enterprise network security, investigations and civil and criminal prosecutions. He has been recognized by the U.S. attorney general and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for support against cyber criminals.  Densmore is also chairman of IAPP’s CIPP/M Certification Advisory Board.

 

Densmore received his Bachelor of Science degree in computer information systems from Regis University.
