Maria Koslunova, CIPP/C, CIPP/US, CIPM, FIP
Maria is an experienced global compliance and data professional with over 10 years experience. She is focused on helping her clients develop strategic and innovative solutions for responsible data use.
Maria's experience includes consulting (data privacy, data strategy, cybersecurity and financial crime), audit and in-house roles across many industries globally. Her expertise in legislative policy, regulatory compliance and industry good practice helped her develop multiple global frameworks and innovative solutions.
Maria is passionate about supporting the growing industry through her many advisory board contributions, publications and continuing education development/delivery. Maria developed the third edition of the Canadian Privacy text for the CIPP/C as a contributing editor. She continues to teach CIPP and CIPM cohorts for the IAPP, Privacy in Technology for York University's Certificate in Information Privacy, and other data governance courses with other organizations.
Maria was a finalist in the Best Educator Award 2023 for the PICASSO Privacy Awards Europe.
Maria has served on IAPP's Canadian Advisory Board and Publication Advisory Board.
