About the IAPP

Angela Mazzonetto joined Bruker as the Chief Privacy Officer in January 2019, leading the Privacy Team, developing, guiding and overseeing the global privacy program and its implementation from the multinational’s offices in Switzerland. She provides legal advice and counsel to the groups on local, regional, and global data protection and privacy issues and projects.

Angela has developed deep knowledge and practical experience in the fields of privacy, international data transfer strategies and data protection compliance programs in the Americas, EME, Russia, and APAC. She has developed her knowledge and experience between Switzerland, the USA, and Italy. Before joining Bruker, Angela has been the Global Privacy Officer at OC Oerlikon AG, a Swiss-based technology-focused multinational, the inhouse privacy advisor at Bullhorn, Inc., a data privacy-sensitive international SaaS provider based in Boston, MA (USA), and before coming in-house she has advised multinational organizations on data privacy matters while at Spinazzi Azzarita Troi Genito, an award-winning boutique law firm based in Padova, Italy.

Angela is extensively involved in industry data protection advocacy efforts, a member of different associations, working groups and task forces, and a speaker on privacy and data protection topics.
