Andy Bloom, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT, FIP
As the Chief Privacy Officer at McGraw-Hill Education, Andy has worked with the business to develop and implement a privacy program to support the business as it moves from a traditional publisher to a learning science company providing world class technology for students around the world. The privacy office oversees privacy for all offices and services provided by the organization around the world including appropriate policies, procedures, and training for all applicable functions. Before joining McGraw-Hill Education, Andy worked at the Graduate Management Admission Council as the Director, Data Protection and Privacy. Prior to that, Andy worked for PwC as an Associate in their Internal Firm Services organization followed by three years with the PwC Advisory Security practice. Andy served on the IAPP Education Advisory Board for one term, followed by a term on the Publication Advisory Board. He is CIPP/US, CIPP/EU, CIPT, and CIPM certified.
