Mira Olson, CIPP/E, CIPT, FIP
Mira is a privacy engineer with broad experience in privacy architecture and technical program management at the multinational enterprise level. She currently leads the data strategy for DoorDash, building data governance solutions and driving privacy forward companywide, working closely with engineers and product managers to ensure that privacy is built into all new products and features on the platform, and designing scalable solutions to support data subject rights, protect user data and uphold regulatory requirements.
At heart, Mira is a scrappy entrepreneur and is passionate about problem-solving matters of global scope. As a former World Bank researcher and fixer/field producer for National Geographic, and having spent several years living abroad, Mira has a keen interest in geopolitics and sees privacy at the core of the conversation between Big Tech and politics.
