Brandon Lalonde, CIPM

Brandon LaLonde, CIPM, serves as research and insights analyst for the IAPP, where he helps develop some of the IAPP’s annual flagship reports and provides research and statistical analysis for a variety of other IAPP resources.
Before joining the IAPP, Brandon’s primary research area was politics in modern-day China, though he also has research experience working with Central American-U.S. migration trends and Latin American public opinion survey data. He has served as a moderator and judge for the University of New Hampshire's Undergraduate Research Conference, acted as a study abroad advisor for students at UNH, and appeared multiple times on WMUR-TV during the 2020 U.S. presidential election season to discuss political trends on college campuses. Brandon holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Political Science from UNH.
