About the IAPP

Marisa is the engineering lead for AI Governance Tooling at Google. With the Google Safety Engineering Center (GSEC), she has led privacy workshops and advised startups in consultations across Europe and Asia. Previously, she led global teams tackling cross-company privacy challenges in data lifecycle management, was an advisor for Google product teams on industry-standard privacy best practices, and worked on engineering teams in video conferencing and Google Translate. Originally from California, Marisa holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Princeton University.
