Kristen Anderson

Kristen Anderson is a senior attorney in the California Privacy Protection Agency’s Legal Division. She advises the Agency on various matters, including the recently approved regulations on cybersecurity audits, risk assessments, and automated decision-making technology. Prior to joining the Agency, Kristen worked in privacy compliance at Goldman Sachs and as an attorney in the Federal Trade Commission’s Division of Privacy and Identity Protection. While at the FTC, she also served as a Counsel to the Director of the Bureau of Consumer Protection and as an Attorney Advisor to Chairwoman Ramirez. Kristen received her J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center, her M.P.P. from the Georgetown Public Policy Institute, and her B.S. from Hamilton College.
