Data Privacy Manager

Costanza Pollini (CIPP/E) is the interim DPO and Privacy Manager at Texas A&M University, overseeing privacy compliance for the University. Previously worked as Privacy Specialist at Europol and as Privacy Legal Expert within the Data Privacy Office at CERN, providing expert guidance on the implementation of the internal data protection frameworks. 

Prior to joining CERN, held the position of Partner Lawyer at a specialized boutique law firm that focused on data protection. Worked as an external Data Protection Officer for public and private entities, network companies and health institutes. Member of the Research Center Privacy and New Technologies (CSPNT) and founding member of the Intergovernmental Organizations Privacy Assembly (IGOPA). Lecturer and trainer on the subject of data protection and co-author of books on the role of the Data Protection Officer. Graduated with honors in Law from Bologna University in 2016 and holds an LL.M. in Intellectual Property and Information Law from King's College London.
