About the IAPP

Matt Silveira CISSP, CRISC, CDPSE, HCISPP. Matt Silveira is the president of Objective Business Solutions, a consulting firm he founded in 2004 that specializes in information security and privacy by design for healthcare, first responder communication systems, and voting systems. Matt Silveira served as adjunct faculty for UC Davis Extension, California State University of Sacramento Extension, and Los Rios Community College District teaching courses in information security, data privacy, and system architecture. He was also Chair of IEEE P7002, “Data Privacy Process” Standard. He is presently engaged as the privacy and security architect lead for the State of California Child Welfare System modernization program.
