About the IAPP

Shubham has carved a pathway for himself at QHR Technologies as a Privacy Analyst. He is responsible for the development and implementation of the privacy Controls as well as incidental management, policies and procedures, product risk analysis and vendor risk management.

After graduating from an Australian university, he joined the current workforce in Canada. Prior to working with QHR Technologies in British Columbia, Shubham had been a member of leading financial organizations such as American Express as a Senior Compliance Officer and Westpac Corporation, in Sydney – one of the four most prominent Australian banks, as a Compliance Officer. His area of expertise is not only restricted to privacy laws and regulatory bodies but is also based on his foundation skills of managing and regulating fraudulent financial activities, as he has been executing for the several past years.

While his current focus is to be an expert in the Privacy department, his vision also entails the hope of becoming part of world-class organizations, in the future, which will further enable him to lead and showcase his knowledge and level of expertise within the Privacy sector. He looks forward to contributing to the IAPP Examination board. Shubham highly values privacy policies and is strongly inclined towards protecting consumer data.

Shubham has a strong liking for survival training games and ice breaker tasks. He enjoys initiating conversations with people who share common interests and loves socializing. Some of his favourite hobbies are meeting new people, indulging in outdoor activities such as zip lining, snowshoeing, and trekking!
