ANI reports Chinese-based genetics firm BGI Group denied recent claims of genetic data collection from a prenatal test taken by more than 8 million women around the world. BGI characterized the reports of its collection practices as "factually incorrect," noting it doesn't share data with the Chinese government and the tests were not created in coordination with Chinese military. "DNA data collected from prenatal tests on women outside China are not stored in a gene bank in the Chinese mainland," BGI said in a statement.
