European Commission Vice President for Values and Transparency Věra Jourová will take over for Didier Reynders as European Commissioner for Justice, Politico reports. Jourová, who previously served as commissioner for justice, consumer and gender equality, announced in September that she would not run for a third mandate in the European Commission.
