Online privacy regulation and data compliance startup Ketch raised $20 million in a funding round led by Acrew Capital, TechCrunch reports. Acrew Founding Partner Theresia Gouw said Ketch empowers software developers by tying data privacy and security to the data itself. “The magic of Ketch is that you can take the security and governance rules and embed them with the software and the piece of data,” she said. CEO Tom Chavez said the funding will be used to expand the company’s sales and go-to-market teams.
