The Internet of Things security team at the Microsoft Security Response Center discovered vulnerabilities in the operating systems of at least 25 products developed by more than 12 organizations, representing “a significant potential risk for organizations of all kinds,” SC Media reports. Researchers said the memory allocation and remote code execution flaws impact Amazon, Google, Samsung and other technology companies. Patches are available for 17 of the affected products.
