Israel's Privacy Protection Authority issued draft guidelines regarding employers' ability to collect their employees' biometric data, FindBiometrics reports. The document titled "Policy Paper: Collection and Use of Biometric Data at the Workplace" recommends employers avoid collecting biometric data but allows some instances of biometric monitoring of employees during work hours. The PPA is seeking public comment on the paper until 18 Aug.
