The final text of the EU Digital Markets Act featured several last-minute changes, Euractiv reports. The text is expected to be presented to the Council of the European Union's competition working party April 28. Textual changes include modifying the legislation’s preamble and issues that involved default settings on devices, sideloading, third-party applications, fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory terms in search engines and other online services, a new data provision requirement, and interoperability of messaging services. Editor's note: IAPP's Jennifer Bryant reported on the DMA agreement between EU institutions.
