The European Data Protection Board will discuss whether to take a formal position on the "pay or OK" advertising model, which allows Meta Platforms users to opt-out of targeted advertising by paying for a subscription, at its 13 Feb. meeting. The board will also discuss a potential draft opinion on a company's main EU establishment and designation of an EDPB representative to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework review team.
