U.S. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo voiced concerns regarding the EU's collection of proposed digital regulations and their affect on U.S.-based companies, Axios reports. Raimondo said the proposed Digital Markets Act and Digital Services Act "will disproportionately impact U.S.-based tech firms and their ability to adequately serve EU customers and uphold security and privacy standards." European Commission Executive Vice President Margrethe Vestager responded to U.S. concerns, saying U.S. companies are "part of the hearing processes" but EU institutions will "make the decisions about what way to go."
