California Attorney General Rob Bonta issued guidance for health care facilities and providers to keep them on top of their compliance obligations with state and federal health data privacy laws. In the bulletin sent to stakeholder organizations, the attorney general reiterated the need to notify the California Department of Justice when the health data of more than 500 state residents has been breached.
