Amazon is installing cameras that use artificial intelligence to access a delivery driver’s location, movement and biometric data, requiring drivers to sign a “biometric consent” form, Vice reports. The cameras are being implemented nationwide, and the form requires drivers to consent to facial recognition and biometric data collection in their trucks. While Amazon said the cameras will improve “safety” and the “quality of the delivery experience,” some drivers are quitting over privacy concerns.
