  • In an interview with Infosecurity Magazine, IAPP Senior Fellow of Privacy Engineering Katharina Koerner, CIPP/US, discussed challenges around the use of artificial intelligence and how they can be overcome. “AI and machine learning systems require large amounts of data, and the use of big data seems like the antithesis to privacy,” Koerner said, adding privacy-by-design is possible when building AI and machine learning systems.   • Meta announced it designed and is building the AI Research SuperCluster, to be completed in mid-2022. Meta said the RSC is believed to be “among the fastest AI supercomputers running today” and will help its researchers build improved AI models.
