Hello from Portsmouth, New Hampshire!

I wanted to say a quick hello today to let you all know that we opened registration Monday for the IAPP Asia Privacy Forum, our largest event yet in Singapore, happening in late July. With two full days of programming, we have more breakout sessions, more speakers and more topics covered than ever before.

We still have our annual keynote address from the Personal Data Protection Commission, but this year, we'll also have an address from the Filipino privacy commissioner. Of course, we still have great sessions on organizing your privacy program, but this year, we also have extensive breakout sessions on individual privacy regimes in the region.

Quite simply, it's growing into the hub of Asian privacy thought and practice we've always wanted it to be. Thanks to everyone who submitted a speaking proposal, and my apologies to those great proposals that we were unable to accept simply because there is only so much space and time to fill. However, we'll do the best we can to address some of those topics that didn't make the program with other content offerings, like web conferences, white papers and articles.

As an added bonus, you'll also find that registering for our event gets you a discount at the RSA Security event happening just after our event. Not bad!

As always, let me know if you have any ideas for more content and services we can provide to you in the APAC community.

Cheers,
Sam
