The U.S. Federal Trade Commission will discuss possible changes to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act Rule during its 18 Jan. meeting. The proposal would require a separate opt-in for targeted advertising, limit "nudging" children without consent and other measures. The deadline to comment on the changes is 11 March.
