European Parliament released a study on potential policy options for the EU's data governance frameworks that "align with a data justice perspective." The study focuses on assessment of and considerations for the EU's overall governance strategy while providing narrower policy outlines related to the EU Data Governance Act and proposals for the Artificial Intelligence Act and the Data Act. Parliament focused its work on four principles: preservation and strengthening of public infrastructure and goods, inclusiveness, contestability and accountability, and global responsibility.
