The California Privacy Protection Agency Board scheduled an open meeting 8 Sept. that will include subcommittee discussion on draft California Privacy Rights Act regulations for cybersecurity audits and risk assessments. The draft regulations, published for preliminary discussion prior to formal rulemaking activities, are among the topics the CPPA seeks to address in its second rulemaking package. Regulations for automated decision-making are also under consideration in the CPPA's second rulemaking, but no draft was released for the meeting.
