The Centre for Information Policy Leadership released a year-long study on the use of privacy-enhancing and privacy-preserving technologies. Researchers found many companies and authorities lack education on the products and that costly implementation can be a barrier to their use. The CIPL called for organizations to recognize the benefits of PETs as well as more standards for the industry.
