IAB Europe announced its Transparency and Consent Framework is compliant with the EU General Data Protection Regulation following an action plan approved by the Belgian Data Protection Authority. IAB said the plan is a "careful assessment of which measures are best suited to meet the (Belgian DPA's) interpretation of the GDPR." IAB Europe CEO Townsend Feehan said the mandated implementation will come over the next six months, but concerns remain over "operating changes" that "may ultimately be found inadequate" by the Court of Justice of the European Union.
