Argentina's Agency for Access to Public Information created a program to promote transparency and personal data protection in the development and use of artificial intelligence. "We must provide greater security and legitimacy to take advantage of and enhance" the use of AI, AAIP Director Beatriz Anchorena said. The program could include research on regulatory processes, implementation of AI systems "and risk and vulnerability prevention practices," and the "institutionalization of the Multidisciplinary Advisory Council."
