CyberScoop reports the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Fourth Amendment is Not for Sale Act, which bars law enforcement and intelligence agencies from buying personal information from data brokers without obtaining a search warrant. Meanwhile, the Office of Management and Budget issued a statement on behalf of the White House opposing the bill and another statement supporting the House bill to reauthorize Section 702 of Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.
