A bipartisan group of U.S. House members wrote a letter to House leadership requesting that any reauthorization measure for Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act not be attached to "must-pass" legislation. The lawmakers said it was vital that a stand-alone legislation for reauthorizing Section 702 receives a floor vote.
