The U.K. Information Commissioner’s Office took an “unusual step” and quietly published information on data breach investigations on its website, InfoSecurity Magazine reports. Available data begins with the fourth quarter of 2021 and contains “details of personal data breaches, complaints and civil investigations.” Ropes and Gray Associate Edward Machin said the ICO’s approach could make it one of Europe's most aggressive privacy regulators.
