The U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation Subcommittee on Consumer Protection, Product Safety and Data Security will hold an 8 May hearing dedicated to consumer data security. Subcommittee members will address how to protect the integrity and accessibility of consumer data through "data minimization and robust data security practices."
