The U.S. Federal Trade Commission said it needs 55 additional staff to help with its enforcement actions in its 2025 budget request, including 10 dedicated to increasingly complex privacy issues and the rise of artificial intelligence in advertising industries. The proposed request for overall financial resources was budgeted at USD535 million.
