A third party has recently scraped the contents of TransUnion's TLO and posted it elsewhere on the internet, Vice News’ Motherboard reports. TLO is a database containing personal information, including peoples’ physical addresses, phone numbers, email addresses and the contact details of their relatives, and is used by private investigators and law enforcement. The data was password protected on the website it was posted onto, however, the report cast doubt on how secure the password was.
