Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Commission published a “Guide to Basic Anonymisation,” providing guidance for businesses on anonymization and deidentification of various datasets. The guide includes details on anonymization concepts and a five-step anonymization process. The PDPC said it is “meant to provide an introduction and practical guidance to organisations that are new to anonymisation on how to appropriately perform basic anonymisation and de-identification of structured, textual, non-complex datasets.”
