Singapore's Personal Data Protection Commission issued guidance on how organizations and building owners can use biometric data following the increased collection of biometric data in various applications. The "Guide on Responsible Use of Biometric Data in Security Applications" aims to help organizations, building owners and security companies "use security cameras and biometric recognition systems responsibly and safeguard individuals’ biometric data where it is collected, used or disclosed."
