Researchers at cybersecurity firm Mandiant reported a vulnerability to the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency that could allow attackers to access real-time camera feeds, InfoSecurity Magazine reports. The issue affects devices, including baby monitors and cameras, using ThroughTek’s Kalay platform and enables attackers to communicate with devices remotely. It’s unknown how many devices are affected, but Mandiant said more than 83 million devices currently use Kalay.
