CBC News reports on the privacy concerns surrounding refunds for the cancelled 2020 Canadian Grand Prix. After the race was called off due to the COVID-19 pandemic, customers sought to get their money back from Gootickets.com. The ticket service asked for customers' names, addresses and bank account numbers in order for the refund to be processed. Gootickets.com did not respond to questions from CBC about its refund process.
