Two officers of the Complaints Division of Hong Kong’s Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data received the Ombudsman’s Awards 2021 for officers of public organizations for their handling of complaints. Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data Ada Chung said the “exemplary performance” of Senior Personal Data Officer Joanna Chan and Personal Data Officer Terry Tang in serving the public “demonstrates PCPD’s role as a guardian of personal data.”
