Privacy management software company OneTrust secured USD150 million in funding. The company announced support from Sands Capital and Al Gore's Generation Investment Management, as well as its current USD4.5 billion valuation. "Our solutions have never been more mission critical. In the face of changing regulations and new business initiatives like AI, organizations need the technology to drive trust to the center of their operations and manage the complex web of privacy, security, ethics, and ESG requirements," founder, CEO and Chairman Kabir Barday, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT, FIP, said.
