The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development's Public Governance Committee and Working Party of Senior Digital Government Officials developed draft recommendations on digital ID implementation and governance, Biometric Update reports. The recommendations outline principles based on three pillars: "developing user-centered and inclusive digital identity systems; strengthening the governance of digital identity; (and) enabling cross-border use of digital identity." Interested parties are invited to submit comments on the draft until 31 March.
